Most influenced by art movements such as Dada and German Expressionism, I paint figures and scenes that convey our deepest desires and fears.

I'm fascinated by the constant flow of information pouring into our minds; why our conscious mind deems some important and filters out the rest. Unconsciously, it's always our emotions that end up guiding us, making decisions, and ultimately changing us. This process is hidden from us and this is what I explore in my art.

I often choose to work in a limited palette to simplify the subject matter. My process involves applying multiple layers of acrylic paint, thinned down to a water-like consistency. The multiple layers build upon each other to form a being, eliciting a visceral reaction.
